Terms of service
Welcome to CiCi Kids and Baby Boutique.
These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you visit our website, place an order with us or use any of the services available through our website.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.
Throughout these Terms, “CiCi”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CiCi Kids and Baby Boutique. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or purchasing from us.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful personal shopping and browsing purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website
- Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer information
- Copy or commercially exploit our website content without permission
- Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or reproduce substantial parts of our website without our permission
We may restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect our customers, our business or the security of our systems.
3. Products
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, sizing information and other details for all products sold through our website.
Although we make every reasonable effort to display products accurately, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings or photography.
Patterns, prints and product placement may also vary slightly between individual items where this is a natural feature of the product.
Measurements and sizing information are provided as a guide. Sizing can vary between brands, so we recommend checking the relevant size guide where available.
If you need help choosing a size or product, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after you have placed an order due to stock discrepancies, damage or another issue.
If we are unable to supply an item you have ordered, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for that item.
5. Prices
All prices shown on our website are displayed in the currency selected on the website and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be shown before you complete your order.
We take reasonable care to ensure our prices are correct. However, occasionally an obvious pricing or technical error may occur.
If we identify an obvious pricing error before your order has been accepted, we may contact you to give you the option of purchasing the item at the correct price or cancelling the affected item for a full refund.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
After checkout, you will normally receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted when we confirm that it has been processed or dispatched.
We reserve the right not to accept an order where, for example:
- An item is unavailable
- Payment cannot be authorised
- There has been an obvious pricing or product information error
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity
- Delivery is unavailable to the address supplied
If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, the relevant amount will be refunded.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Some payment options may be provided by third-party payment providers, such as Clearpay. If you choose one of these services, the provider's own terms and eligibility requirements may also apply.
Your use of a third-party payment service does not affect your statutory rights in relation to goods purchased from CiCi.
We do not receive or store your complete card details where payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
8. Discount Codes and Promotions
From time to time we may offer discount codes, promotional offers, competitions or other special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Promotional codes cannot normally be exchanged for cash
- Only one promotional code may be used per order unless stated otherwise
- Certain products, brands or collections may be excluded
- Minimum spend requirements may apply
- Offers are available for the period stated
- Discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively to an order already placed
Individual promotions may have additional terms which will be displayed alongside the promotion.
We may correct, suspend or withdraw a promotion where there has been an obvious error, technical problem or misuse, provided this does not affect rights already acquired under an accepted order.
9. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased from CiCi are subject to any additional terms shown on the gift voucher product page or supplied with the voucher.
Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
If an order paid for using a gift voucher is refunded, the relevant amount may be returned to the original gift voucher or payment method used, as appropriate.
10. Gift Registry and Other Services
CiCi may offer additional services such as gift registries, seasonal schemes, competitions, promotional clubs or other special services.
Additional terms may apply to these services and will be provided where appropriate.
Where specific terms are supplied for a service or promotion, those terms apply alongside these Terms of Service.
11. Delivery
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.
Please ensure the delivery address provided with your order is complete and accurate.
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have specifically agreed otherwise.
We are responsible for your order until it is delivered to you or to another person you have nominated to receive it, subject to applicable consumer law.
If there is a problem with the delivery of your order, please contact us and we will investigate.
12. Click & Collect
Where available, you may choose to collect your order from our Dungannon store.
We will let you know when your order is ready for collection.
Please wait until you have received confirmation that your order is ready before travelling to the store.
We may ask for your order confirmation or another reasonable form of identification when collecting an order.
13. International Orders
Where international delivery is available, delivery times, charges and any applicable destination-specific information will be shown at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.
Depending on the destination, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply. Where applicable, responsibility for these charges will be explained at checkout or through the relevant delivery information.
Customers outside the United Kingdom may also have additional mandatory consumer rights under the laws that apply in their country. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights which cannot legally be excluded.
14. Cancelling or Returning an Online Order
Your rights to cancel an online order, return unwanted goods and receive a refund are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
For most online purchases, statutory cancellation rights may also apply.
Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy before returning an item.
Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy or these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Goods supplied by CiCi must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can help.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.
Your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from our change-of-mind returns policy.
16. Sale Items
Products purchased in a sale or at a discounted price remain covered by your statutory consumer rights.
For online orders, applicable cancellation and return rights do not disappear simply because an item was purchased at a reduced price.
Our full Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns are handled.
17. Personalised and Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Certain products may have different cancellation or return rights where an exemption permitted by law applies.
This may include:
- Products personalised or made specifically for you
- Sealed products which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
Any relevant restriction will be explained where appropriate.
This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
18. Accounts
You may have the option to create a customer account on our website.
You are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for activities carried out through your account.
Please contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of misuse, fraud, security concerns or a serious breach of these Terms.
19. Reviews, Comments and Customer Content
Where our website allows you to submit reviews, comments or other content, you are responsible for ensuring that anything you submit is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.
Content must not contain material that is:
- Abusive, threatening or discriminatory
- Defamatory
- Fraudulent or deliberately misleading
- Unlawful
- Infringing of copyright, privacy or other rights
- Spam or unrelated commercial advertising
We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these requirements or applicable law.
Separate consent or promotional terms may apply where customers voluntarily provide photographs or other material for use in CiCi marketing campaigns.
20. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website, including our branding, graphics, photographs, text, layout and other original material, belongs to CiCi or is used with permission from the relevant rights holder.
You may view and use the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit our website content without permission from us or the relevant rights holder.
Brand names and trademarks belonging to manufacturers and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
21. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including payment providers, delivery services, social media platforms and other websites.
Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or operation of a third-party website simply because our website links to it.
This does not affect our responsibility for services we are legally responsible for providing to you.
22. Privacy and Cookies
We take the protection of customer information seriously.
Information about how we collect, use and protect personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and tracking technologies can also be accessed through our cookie preferences and privacy information.
23. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and working correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict parts of the website for maintenance, updates, security reasons or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will try to minimise disruption.
24. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:
- Your statutory consumer rights
- Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
Products sold through our website are intended primarily for personal and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity arising from a consumer purchase, except where the law requires otherwise.
25. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Sometimes an event outside our reasonable control may delay or prevent us from fulfilling an order.
This could include severe weather, disruption to transport or postal services, technical failures, industrial action, emergencies or other events that we could not reasonably prevent.
If this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where your order is materially affected.
Your statutory rights, including any rights arising from significant delay or non-delivery, remain unaffected.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices or legal requirements.
The Terms that apply to a purchase will normally be those in force when the relevant order is placed.
Updates to these Terms will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
27. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
28. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right available to us under these Terms, that does not mean we have waived that right.
29. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and contracts made through our website are governed by the laws applicable in Northern Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory rights and protections available under the law where you live.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first. We will always aim to resolve customer concerns fairly and as quickly as possible.
Nothing in this section restricts any right you may have to bring a claim in a court which has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
